Therapeutic Services / Exercise Physiology
Exercise Physiology
Exercise as medicine.
Our Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) design and deliver evidence-based programs that
build strength, balance, mobility, cardiovascular health and independence — for people with
disability, chronic conditions and the natural changes that come with age.
What Exercise Physiology Is
More than personal training.
Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are university-qualified allied health professionals registered with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA). We prescribe exercise as a clinical intervention to prevent, manage and rehabilitate medical conditions and injuries.
That's the difference between a personal trainer and an AEP: we work with people whose health conditions or disabilities mean exercise has to be precise, safe and clinically reasoned.
